Gala at Glyndyfrdwy…
Last weekend saw the Classic Transport Weekend take place on the Llangollen Railway which transforms our sleepy village station into a hive of activity...
I enjoyed both Saturday and Sunday and using the Working Time Table found a period from about 1pm where you could see all the trains running in the shortest amount of time due to the crossing of trains being at both Carrog and Glyndyfrdwy. I enjoyed a few beers sat on the platform along with a good book and my note pad, quiet time for once, and all the better for it. I took a number of photos, just on the iPhone, over the weekend and share them here as much for my own memory as yours - but I do hope anyone who visited had a nice time despite the mixed weather. If you haven't made a trip to Llangollen for some time then do let me know if you do this summer and I'll try to be around to say hello... until next time, more soon...
You can find the timetable and book tickets online on the Llangollen Railway website here. Until next time more soon...
