Welcome to a necessarily shorter Friday Update this week as the school holidays have arrived and progress in the workshop slows somewhat…

A 158 heading for Birmingham whilst we wait for our train to Chester at Ruabon yesterday.

The week has seen trips on the Llangollen and Ffestiniog railways along with Manchester via Chester - more on that another time. On the bench there has been progress on a few commissions (no photos I’m afraid) and my latest Farish repaint, 03162, emerging from the ashes of a Kernow NSE 03179.

3802 leads us off from Glyndyfrdwy heading for Llangollen.

Next week will see an equally slow output as my son is still visiting us and I’m off to Pembrokeshire. Later this month, when it’s back to the four of us I might be able to pick up a few more jobs on the bench. We will see, August is always problematic for business!
