Time for a pick-me-up…

Creation is both a fulfilling and draining process. We make things that matter by taking something from within and expressing it in model railway form…

Sometimes a pause to reflect, to play, to enjoy a moments calm in that process can be just the tonic, or pick-me-up required. A Bachmann 25 doing a spot of shunting on the latest layout commission today’s example. I’ll leave the memories and caption to you, and keep my own intepretation to myself. Until next time, more soon…

  1. Wonderfully atmospheric James. I feel like I'm leaning out of the window of the rear carriage watching as the locomotive approaches and the moment of our departure will be very soon. A leisurely start to a pleasant journey on a cool summer day...

    2. Summer holidays in the 80s. Living in Devon. Getting on my five speed racer (as we called them), cycling through the lanes and discovering a rural rail
      backwater. A perfect day!
