Well it might not look like much but a few more hours have seen the cab detailing finished...

The cab now sports relevant dials, hand wheels and levers based on what photos I can find of the area - and a brake stand. The sanding actuator rodding is also fitted along with a whistle, safety valves and the roof is now secured. The whistle is from Markits, and the sand box lid handles are individual 'grains' of fluid lead. More soon...
