Booths Sidings

The EHLR is the 'joint' background story behind Grindley Brook Wharf and Creech Bottom. It kind of gives the excuse that we (Tim and I) can build anything we like - but we always had the intention of doing more layouts on the same theme...
Whereas GBW is very much Welsh borders, Creech Bottom was decidedly Purbeck - so for a follow up I'm planning to continue the theme, with a smattering of Wales thrown in...
Booths Sidings is another branch of the line, and is an interchange with the standard gauge. It features a small office building come station, interchange shed and brick built engine shed. The office is inspired by a building at Nantlle in North Wales and the shed will be based upon the one at Porthgain. The line is still very much ball clay though. You might have noticed the track plan is similar to GBW, and Creech Bottom - it's still build on a small 4x1 ish shelf (110x26cm to be Swedish about it) and although this one has a little more going on then Creech Bottom, should still have plenty of character and the feeling of space, if I get it right... With Creech Bottom appearing at ExpoNG in October this one may take a little while to germinate, but I'll post up more when I start in earnest. More soon...
