Red and green...
Since the weather is perfect and dry I dug out the airbrush and got two locos painted...
The new Bagnall got a coat of maroon built up in thin layers over a ten minute period. It's a gloss paint by Humbrol and so will take transfers when I apply the lining very nicely.
The second is the Kerr Stuart Haig, for this I mixed up a light-ish green, darker than the Sand Hutton Waril, that has a lovely satin sheen, perfect for weathering. I'll leave these to harden for 24 hours and then do the detail painting. More soon...
