Up to the stops…

I’m sat waiting for the coffee, the distinctive bubbling of the Bialetti and then rich aroma building anticipation for that first sip, first taste, first hit…

26010 at the stops.

I’m reading emails. The usual junk of course but a few from friends far and wide. Hearing what they’re heading out for this weekend and preparing myself too, to go out train hunting.

Friday night brings the week to the stops, ‘The Last Leg’ always a neat and therapeutic laugh to come to terms with political turmoil. A few beers and a chance to unwind a little with my partner.

Saturday morning though. It can drag and if I’m not careful the malaise can sour the day. I’m up early with the dogs and the house is quiet. Whilst sometimes a balm others a curse, today I’m heading out. A lesson learnt late that this solitary time is an investment for the family, I will be better company through what follows.

The coffee is ready!
