HMLX at Rail-ex…

What a day yesterday… thanks to Chris and Oly of OTCM fame a hangover made things interesting for much of the morning…

So tired that I went for a lie down after lunch. That said an enjoyable day at the show too - some familiar faces saying hello and some new ones introducing themselves! Paul’s layout behaved itself and it was fun giving the cement cars and HMLX locomotives a stretch - both performed beautifully, the same could not be said about the cars, the Micro Engineering track just doesn’t agree with Kadee code 88 wheelsets!

Today Paul and I look forward to doing it all again and if you’re coming along it will be good to see you. If not I’ll grab some photos of the other exhibitors layouts and do some sort of write up next week, once I’ve recovered!

Always a good sign too when I’ve not spent any money… but there is always time yet! Until next time, more soon…
