Meanwhile at Paxton Road…

The girls are back to school today, the last few days have been a haze of last minute panic and trying to keep them calm…

My partner and I trying to keep ourselves calm too - and Paxton Road has been a rather wonderful tonic alongside a few containerised Railfreight wagon rabbit holes (beyond the ISIS link of the weekend!). More on all of this when I have a moment to breathe, for now, let’s see how we go and getting ‘back to normal’. Until next time more soon…

  1. Enjoy the peace ahead James. That Cortina really fits the scene there - can you tell us more? I noticed it has a tag so maybe you have more to come in a future post?

    1. John it’s just an Oxford one, with tyres painted dark grey brown, wheels weathered and sprayed in satin lacquer, including the glazing. I’d love them to do a Sierra or Cavalier!

  2. James another new term for the children. Peace, quiet and back to some normality. The cortina is a lovely little touch.

    1. Yes, quite Kevin. Thanks, it’s the soft focus but it suggests human presence without a figure in the composition.
