Ex Ballard and Wantage RS1 still on hire with HMLX…

Regular readers may recall the ex Ballard and Wantage RS1, the last survivor of the trio, is now part of the HMLX lease fleet and has been out on hire with Alan Sewell…

"#1000 has returned from switching the Laxton branch industries on the Thameside Model Railroad Group layout at the NMRA British Region Convention in Cookham, Berkshire.  HMLX's contribution to the weekend was well received and a few photos are attached".

Having finished assignments at Andrews Lumber and Laxton industries she will shortly be heading to the Hockley and Western. I look forward to sharing further updates of her travels in due course! Until next time, more soon…

(I will be using the RS1 label to share her travels over time).

  1. Have enjoyed having #1000 "on hire" for a while.

Hope it will continue to be useful on its next operation

    Best regards
