Victory, final call for sound upgrades…

A few weeks ago I shared a few videos demo’ing the final sound file for the Planet Industrials ‘Kerr, Stuart’ Victory model we’re producing in OO gauge…

I’ve just had the finalised sound file back from Paul, as I asked for the drain cock volume to be adjusted (quieter) and he’s also added a short whistle before moving off on DC, this is how the models will be shipped from us later this year. There is still a week or so to update your order from DC to DCC sound, email info@planetindustrials.co.uk with your order number amend Steve will arrange it.

Meanwhile, the decorated sample retrofitted with the revised speaker enclosure and finalised sound sits in the workshop sounding awesome as it just burbles away behind me on Pont-y-Dulais. Rather vanely I’m now on the footplate but I’ve yet to add a second man. Narrow Planet’s Tom Dauben did get scanned as a fireman IIRC, whereas Steve was wearing a hard hat clutching a coffee and a phone for his scan! Warley 2019 where these were done for us by Alan seems such a long time ago now… I hope to see you out at exhibitions again this year, until then more soon…
