Commission: Another Dolgoch in 009…
Every time I finish a Dolgoch I’m pleased with the model, this case is no different. The Fourdees body is a straight swap onto the Bachmann chassis and with a little prep and lots of attention turns out beautifully…
This example has two identities, as a lasting tribute to a customers loved one - and is finished with a maroon lined black yellow livery with Modelu crew. It is wonderful to be able to offer a completely one stop shop, where in this case I even did the sourcing of the donor model - and whilst Dolgoch is pristine, I’m happy to weather the completed model to your specification.
The model is finished in a dull-satin but as you may have seen on Friday Updates the work starts in gloss - perfect for applying lining decals. Adding the plates before lacquer means they should be protected from tarnishing too, so the finish you see here doesn’t degrade over time.
I am happy to offer this source / build / finish service (or take on parts you already have) and create a dream model - the Fourdees range in particular suits this approach, I’m confident tackling any kit from Dan and building full valve gear as required, finishing with lining and custom name as required. Get in touch for a no obligation fixed price proposal - you can use the form on the menu (3 horizontal lines top left) or if that doesn’t work (it doesn’t seem to like Android devices) there is an email address on my Facebook webpage (which doesn’t required a Facebook account to visit).
I love bringing these models to life and am honoured to call this my living, perhaps my calling even. Until next time, more soon…
