Every day I share a thought, an idea, a model - always something creative, something of me, from the heart - and everyday you all read it, absorb it, enjoy it - and for that I will always be grateful…

Through a mix of creating commission models, writing books and a tiny bit from YouTube ads I scrape enough money together to keep in the black. Customers, book purchases and those that offer kind donations through PayPal or Buymeacoffee - you’re all enablers for this life style and I do not take this for granted. 

When my mood dips and I struggle to make sense of life I turn to the blog and talk my way through things and you always listen, when I have a crazy idea or new inspiration I wrap that up in words and pictures and it fires your imaginations as well as mine. Through mutual love of trains both large and small we come together and in these connection points feel as if we know one another just a little better. 

I will be at the National Festival of Railway Modelling this weekend with Paul Marshall-Potter - if you’re a regular and in the area do pop over and say hello, it is always lovely to meet readers in person. For now though, I’m off to brave the snow and ice for my morning walk - and curiously - warm up! Until next time, more soon…
