Renfrew return...
I was very pleased to welcome Renfrew Wharf back to the workshop this week for some adjustments, and took the opportunity to take a few photos, including this rather lovely cameo of my Bachmann Class 24...
I can't quite put my finger on what it is about these colours, the grass and weed infested bullhead rail, the moody sky and faded background that combine with BR blue diesels to just literally SING to me, sing their absolute heart out, the crescendo of the chorus ringing in my ears through my eyes and into my heart.
Shades of...
Who cares!
She just looks great here - with a pair of ubiquitous 16t minerals.
Inspiration not through my own direct experience but from the pages of those library books documenting the late 70s and 80s, second hand in source, but first love.
