On Video: Recent uploads and Mindful playlist...
Over the past few weeks I've created and curated a few 'mindful' videos on my YouTube video channel. This continues to grow slowly, I'm always surprised how few people who watch there, don't read here - but alas, I guess it's a different format entirely...
I prefer the written word, the soft reflection and editing of what it contains and how I can illustrate it at my own pace with photos of my choice - video I find to be a lot harder to choreograph and control in that way. I'm lucky enough to say that I do get a small amount of £££ from the advertising on YouTube now - which echoes the 'Donate' style here in some ways - it keeps me able to create content without directly charging you...
These are a response to feedback on longer form 'companion' style video where you join me whilst I do a job and talk a little about it - but more, share thoughts, feelings and ideas about the process and its benefit to my headspace - and potentially yours too... if these continue to prove popular I will add more in time - they're fairly simple 'single take' videos that don't require a ton of editing, but they do take an age to upload on my un-fibre broadband here in North Wales!
They are also part of a new 'Mindful Model Railways' play list - where you can find all my content that I would group under this 'slow TV' heading - one day, I would love to do a Hilton and Mears version of Mortimer and Whitehouse Gone Fishing - but until then, this will suffice...
I have also added a short 'how to' on wiring a 'microhifi' cameo layout or power, control and lighting using one 12v DC power supply...
Back to normal and written words here tomorrow! Until next time, more soon...
