Commission: Sugar cane 009…

Well on Monday I thought I had featured the last commission of the year, but I had forgotten there was one last example to share, these sugar cane wagons in 009…

A straight forward build and finish if some cane bins from styrene and resin as well as sourcing, modifying and repainting some suitable Minitrains donor wagons. A gentle way to wrap things up and a distinctive rake for my customer. If you have a model you’re struggling to make a reality why not get in touch to discuss me helping make that dream come true. Taking commissions large and small for 2025 so get in touch using the form in the menu - or failing that using Facebook (you can email me from there too - no Facebook account required) - the link is on the Commission page here.

A short thank you (I’ll do a proper wrap up of the year later) to all my customers this year - I’ve enjoyed the massive variety of work and hope the readers have enjoyed seeing the various creations shared here on the blog. Until next time, more soon…

  1. That finish on the timber decking is fantastic, I thought it was real wood. Do you have the process documented anywhere?

    1. No magic, just Humbrol 110 and when nearly dry, 33 washed and brushed on in the plank direction.
