How low can you go…
Having worked on a pair of the characterful Farish ‘new tool’ N gauge Ckass 37 over the holidays (more on those another time) I’ve been enjoying transforming these toys into miniatures that communicate the weight and mass of their prototype…
Lowered left, standard right. |
The majority of the ‘heavy lifting’ in this transformation is actually the lowering of the body on the chassis which in just a few minutes completely lifts, sorry, lowers the appearance!
I am often asked ‘how’ - well I did our a video together…
Just because it is small doesn’t mean we should write things off as too hard, too fiddly or too small. These are all relative descriptions and ones I’ve enjoyed facing and overcoming in my own N gauge adventure. I hope you have enjoyed the journey too this year. Lots more planned for 2025! Until next time, more soon…
