Journey on from Lochdubh…
And breathe! ‘Looks like we made it’! Welcome to the other side AND welcome to Lochdubh…
Taking a second look at my Christmas Day post you might spot a few clues that my Scottish journey isn’t over - rather, it has barely started! This morning we are here at Lochdubh. Whilst many consider it ‘journeys end’ for us it is very much the start… BR blue (and grey), 1984 and a warm fuzzy feeling - I have only a loose plan for what follows but rather than get left behind (perhaps like my personal 009 or Irish OO?) this Scottish N gauge ‘faux’ Highland branch line is coming into a sharper focus.
I am wondering about different communication and remuneration ideas for 2025 and some of these fit with thoughts for Lochdubh. I am also wondering how I can get people to join in and feel part of this journey, this creation… so whilst there isn’t anything of that nature to share yet a visit to Lochdubh continues to be a calming and mindful experience.
Whatever your plans for the year ahead I hope you will continue to join me here, on the blog, every morning. Until next time, more soon…

DeleteHi James
ReplyDeleteAnd all your readers
Happy New Year and looking forward to enjoying and contributing ( sometime) to the Blog in 2025.
Will be interested to see how the Lochdubh develops - it already looks good - and indeed your other projects both commissions and personal.
Best regards
Alan

DeleteIndeed happy new year to you James and all other readers too! Looking forward to another year of blog browsing and idea gestation, a personal resolution is to leave this year with more finished projects than I left the last... it shouldn't be hard...
ReplyDeleteAll the best!
Thanks James, and to yourself. Hope to arrange a visit too later in the year!
DeleteHappy New Year James. Plan to read your blog as part of my morning computering in 2025. Not a modeler any more, but do enjoy your writings and style.
ReplyDeleteThank you, glad the blog transcends the hobby!
