Commission: Hudson GoGo in primer…
Last year I built a Hudson GoGo tractor for a customer in 16mm/ft. It generated quite some interest and I promised to do a batch this year. Today, the first is ready to share with you all…
This model will be supplied in primer, so whilst the other pair are in the paint shop this one is ready now to head off to its new home. The prototypes are interesting things, burly and heavy looking until you pose them next to something else when their small stature becomes more obvious. A real modern build it combines custom designed parts that are 3D printed and laser cut alongside modifying a die-cast tractor and heaps of scratch-building. The result tied together in grey feels great and I’m really happy to share these photographs today. Interesting too to reflect in the subtle difference in character due to the different tractor model used as the ‘engine donor’.
Whilst this batch is fully subscribed and nearly finished, I’m doing one more group later this year. I have capacity for another locomotive in that final set so if you’re interested, the models come complete in primer, or fully painted and weathered - driven by a precision gear head drive with chain to both axles, Slaters wheels, LocoRemote with high capacity Lipo battery. Prices upon request.
You can get in touch using the contact form in the menu or via email using my Facebook page (link is on the Commissions page, here). For now, I hope you’ve enjoyed these snapshots and until next time more soon…

Looks fabulous James.
ReplyDeleteThank you Scott, that’s very kind!
DeleteThat model is going to be jaw dropping when its painted, weathered and working a garden line somewhere!
ReplyDeleteThanks, certainly a little more detailed than many in the garden.
