When we specified the ‘plain’ liveries of the Victory following the livery survey of December 2020 we chose the maroon and green ones on purpose…

Where the maroon (or dark red) one was based upon Francis at Astley Green, the green one instead was based on the East Kent Railway’s example. 

I promised to design various customisation options throughout the project and some are already available, others in progress. One of the simpler items was this set of EKR 4 decals, that an overseas customer asked me to apply before his model jets off to sunnier climes.

The result is as intended, fairly well matched straw colour, certainly from normal viewing the same, minimum sign of carrier film, the look of a factory applied marking. These decals are available from Light Railway Stores to customise your model, along with other products of a similar nature with more to come including the much requested Lambton cab conversion!
