Long shadows…

A passion understood and nurtured by a parent, perhaps but not necessarily shared, a gift that goes beyond giving. Perhaps the greatest ‘Father’s Day’ gift? I lost my Dad 14 years ago - which became a defining moment in my life for all the wrong reasons. The passing of time has helped and today I’m reflecting on the greatest of the gifts he shared with me - not the love of Canadian railways, but his time and attention. 

Long shadows stood sharing an adventure.
