Planet Industrials crew in 1:76…
Alongside the forthcoming 'Victory' model in OO 1:76 scale we've commissioned Modelu to produce a range of 'crew' figures which can be used not only on Victory but other footplates as well...
These figures will be available for £14.50 including UK postage. They come with a bucket of tools, oil can, lamp, shunters pole and extra shovel. I've painted this 'pre-production' sample to show what's possible. These models are sized to fit the Victory perfectly, but as Steve and I are relatively 'short' we'd also be a good crew for many of your narrow gauge models.
Keep your eyes peeled on Facebook and the newsletters for when these are available on Light Railway Stores. It started as a bit of a joke, but actually I hope these figures allow you all a bit of fun, and a value for money footplate and detailing pack for your industrial and narrow gauge models. That's funny, I just picked up a set of these from Modelu, took a closer look and thought "hang on, those faces look familiar" 😄 Nice touch.
ReplyDeleteVery impressed with the Modelu figures, a couple of levels up from the usual figures offered by Hornby et al with their oddly proportioned limbs and blobby faces.
