Shades of Lawrence Hill…
With the decision to abandon and sell Gerald Road came the realisation that location and period agnostic Paxton Road could double as a small slice of Bristol from time to time…
I had bought and weathered the tank in the right early last year it with Gerald Road planned a second tank had arrived but not been touched, as with the 16t mentioned yesterday it felt like a nice distraction to breathe a little life into its box fresh appearance. A gentle wash, some streaking and airbrushed road dirt blend it nicely with both the previous example and the tones and shades of the layout. I hope you’re having a relaxing morning, enjoy the weekend. Until next time more soon…
(Gerald Road, in its basic form with cameo box, lighting, track, wiring, turnout control and buried magnets is for sale for just £200).
