Friday Update: Nine Four Twenty-one...

Well it’s been holiday week here, so all commissions are halted, but there is still stuff to share, a few projects have dried and hardened and a few things have arrived in the post from Shapeways...

Here is Taliesin, the Backwoods Miniatures 009 kit. The custom transfers have been fitted, the plates are painted and ready to be fitted, and I’ve for the window frames cut and polished. This will be all put together and finished off with a coat of lacquer next week.
Shapeways delivered the second prototype version of the Sentinel detail kit, and success, they fit perfectly. The production parts have now been ordered, although I’m still waiting for the etched parts to confirm they fit as intended. These front ones need the support sprues cutting away, but it gives the model a real prototype character. Once fitted she’ll be ready for painting...
We’ve had a real mixed bag of weather, and my hopes of using the tramway have been dashed - too cold for my post Covid lungs, but pretty to look at... some hail giving a wintry feel to the wharf here. Normal service will resume next week, until next time, more soon...
