Commission: Hudson revisited…

I was asked by a customer recently to revisit the colour scheme they’d specified for the Hudson Hunslet and it was lovely to see an old friend back in the workshop…

This was one of the first batch, delivered in September 2019 if I remember. I stripped the model down, removed the windows and radiator and applied black paint to the handrails, spectacle plates and radiator itself. On the lower cab sides and rear panel I added a simple white lining scheme.

These small changes have added some real interest to the model, and it’s lovely to see it here on the tramway shortly after I’d cut the grass. In the meantime, if you’d like me to work on a model for you then get in touch for a mo obligation personal proposal. More soon…
