The RT Models side skirts and Shawplan laser glaze really transform the basic model (as seen on this pair I repainted in a pseudo Planet Industrials livery), however I felt there was still the opportunity for a few add on parts to represent the modifications they received later in life, and set about designing a kit for Planet Industrials...

This includes two styles of air brake cabinets, modified cab doors and two options for handrails to replace the side panels, as well as Sentinel plates and bonnet swords...

These parts are a combination of 3D printed plastic and etched metal, and fit well without massive modification. The kits will be available through Light Railway Stores when ready, in the meantime I need to decide what colour to paint my own model, and crack on to finish the chassis detailing... until next time, more soon...
