Despite several years of British Rail ownership and the age of the paintwork, the crew have chalked in a little of what remains of her former ownership…9656 is a 8750 GWR Pannier tank based at Croes Newydd, here caught between duties, the fireman checking something or other whilst waiting for instructions from the shunter or signalman.
She is based upon a Bachmann model and a nostalgic nod to my childhood Hornby 8750 in the same livery. Lightly modified with detail parts including RT Models, Modelu and some scratch built, along with etched number and shed code plates from Narrow Planet. Posed on Pont-y-dulais last night during a short operating session. More soon…
