Whilst the majority were from the numerous 57xx class examples of 15xx and 16xx also survived and it is thanks to their extended lives that saw these small classes preserved.

This Rapido model is posed on my latest commission, Shades of Mountain Ash, a tiny slice of NCB trackage set in South Wales.
