Alan Sewell’s narrow gauge medley…

In another instalment from the archives of regular contributor Alan Sewell we have a collection of narrrow gauge photographs selected regarding the trackwork…

As I said in my comment attached are some photos which I ethink support the authenticity of your modelling.

The large MR was taken in 1965 on  Arnolds operation of the Leighton Buzzard Light railway and pre-any preservation. The colour slides I took at Maenofferen in 1980 with the incline at the transhipment wharf and the track around the slate mill. The other B&W photo is looking down into the pit at Penrhyn in 1964. In none of these is there much signs of sleepers with the track buried in the land.
