Commission: A trio of Victory…

I never tire of working on the Planet Industrials Victory (we still have good stocks of most liveries at Light Railway Stores - if you'd like to add one (or another) to your collection) and this trio shows again the variety you can achieve in finish and details...

Newdedgate is heading off to a customer who previously bought a red example and was so impressed and happy that he purchased a second. This one is fitted with custom etched plates and front steps. I've painted and fitted a Planet Industrials crew and coaled the bunker. A deluxe weathering followed with washes, detail micro painting, airbrush and dry brushed detail.

The second and third of the trio are heading to my business partner Steve's collection - as his own personal models. In these you'll see more variation in fitted details and a higher level of filth! The first example is the lovely lined maroon which always shows off the 'dirty' boiler the best out of all shades (in my opinion) and as above features the original Pi crew, coal and details.

Steve's second model is in black, and features the later Pi crew with donkey jackets and hard hats - depicting a later period. This black model has a blackened metal works plate and looks in need of a good clean!

If you have a model you'd like me to breathe life into then get in touch for a personal no obligation proposal. Work can range from a simple weathering through to complete customisation with new livery and everything in between. Until next time though, more soon...
