David and Goliath...

It is unusual to capture this working in daylight as for security reasons it is often completed undercover of darkness, however delays en-route meant that the nuclear working arrived early this morning at Mollington Works...

The Clayton 25t shunter, sourced specifically for this task is seen here after collecting the wagon from the DBS interchange and then squeezing it between the older areas of the works.

The locomotive has to run round at several points to complete the manoeuvre and our photographer had special permission to capture these images from the heavily secured works manager.
